Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Find My Stuff. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Find My Stuff. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may sign up with an email and password, or with Sign in with Apple or Google.

3. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Find My Stuff for organizing your own homes, rooms, containers and items. This is for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Your content

You own the content you create — your inventory, descriptions and photos. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, back up, process and display that content so we can provide the service to you and to people you share with. You're responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to upload it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Sharing & collaboration

Find My Stuff lets you invite others to homes and rooms with different roles. You're responsible for who you invite and what access you grant them. People you share with can see and, depending on their role, edit the shared content.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services (such as Apple and Google sign-in, hosting, storage and app delivery). Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual property

The app itself — its software, design, branding and content we provide — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every need. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of important data (the in-app CSV export can help).

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your country / jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
